Product description The JVC 8GB Everio GZ-R30BUS Full HD Camcorder is designed with JVC's rugged Quad-Proof camera body, which means that it is waterproof down to 16.4', shockproof from falls up to 4.9', dustproof (IP5X rating), and freeze-proof from temperatures as low as 14°F. The camera has a back-illuminated 2.5MP CMOS sensor and FALCONBRID image processing engine that work together to facilitate up to 1920 x 1080 Full HD video recording at 24 Mbps. It supports 2MP still image capture as well. You can also shoot up to 10MP photos when employing the GZ-R30BUS's Ultra Resolution technology. JVC has equipped this model with 8GB of internal memory. There's also an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot that provides external memory expansion. The camera's Konica Minolta HD Lens features a 40x optical zoom and 60x dynamic zoom. Plus, there's an Advanced Image Stabilizer (A.I.S.) that reduces the effects of unwanted camera shake. The camera features a full screen 3" touch panel LCD as well. For connectivity, the GZ-R30BUS has a USB 2.0 port for charging and data transfers, while a mini-HDMI output allows you to share your video clips on a large HDTV screen in Full HD thanks to the camera's 1080/60p video output capability. The GZ-R30BUS features several user-friendly shooting controls and options including Intelligent AUTO, time-lapse recording, Face Detection, Touch AE/AF, and more. You can also take advantage of special recording modes like Rough Monochrome, Food Mode, Baby Mode and Marine Mode. Other features include a sealed internal battery design, built-in zoom microphone with auto wind cut, K2 audio recording technology, an auto illuminating LED light, and a Super LoLux option that affords improved sensitivity when recording in low light. - This model features JVC's durable Quad-Proof camera body design
