Product description Utilizing the MPEG-4 codec, the JVC DMNC40U accepts up to 2 analog cameras for bi-directional real-time audio and video transmissions over an IP network and is ideal for a wide variety of applications including live streaming, teleconferencing and security. Running on both the PC and MAC platforms, this unit supports uni-casting and multicasting, virtually eliminating LAN congestion, and is compatible with most major media players with specialized JVC software provided for viewing on a local PC. When used in a security environment, this unit controls the PTZ functions of dome cameras and supports various alarm triggering functions. - MPEG-4
- Uses the MPEG-4 format for simultaneous transmission and receiving of video and audio over an IP network.
- 2-Inputs
- Accepts 2 analog cameras for bi-directional, real-time encoding/decoding to the network or for outputting to a monitor, flat panel display or projector.
- Video Streaming
- Ideal for live streaming applications such as teleconferencing, distance learning, sporting events or religious services.

Through the remote efforts of a Tech was able to get back online, however, "settings" are only listed 1 - 5 with no action listed as was 'visibly' available, (i.e. Scan both sides, Black and White, Color, etc.)
