Product description The JVC Everio GZ-RY980HEU Quad-Proof 4K Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom (PAL) records up to 4K video in the .MOV format at 70 Mb/s, and HD at bit rates up to 28 Mb/s to dual SDHC/SDXC media card slots. Designed with JVC's rugged Quad-Proof camera body, the Everio GZ-RY980HEU is built to capture your adventures, no matter the weather. This rugged camcorder is waterproof down to 16', shockproof from falls up to 5', dustproof, and freeze-proof down to 14°F. The camera's back-illuminated 18.9MP CMOS sensor uses JVC's Falconbird image processor, and 8.3MP stills can be pulled directly from the 4K video.
The GZ-RY980HEU's JVC 4K GT lens features a 10x optical zoom in 4K and 18x dynamic zoom when shooting HD. Advanced image stabilization (AIS) reduces camera shake when handholding the camera. View while recording and playing back footage on the 3" touchscreen LCD. Image capture features include time-lapse recording, face detection, and special effects like Grainy B&W, Food, and Baby modes. Additional camera features include a rechargeable internal battery lasting up to 4.5 hours in 4K (5.5 hours in HD), a built-in zoom microphone, and 46mm filter thread. - Features

- Dual card slots for recording to SDHC/SDXC media
- Dual slots can be used for serial recording, automatically switching from the full card to the next card
- Dual slots also enable simultaneous (backup) recordings of HD

- 10x optical zoom, 18x dynamic zoom in HD with image stabilizer off, and 200x digital zoom
- Rechargeable internal battery runs up to 4.5 hours in 4K, 5.5 hours in HD

- 3" touchscreen LCD panel for viewing and playback
- Advanced image stabilization (AIS) compensates for camera shake
- Camera will continue to record even when the LCD panel is closed
