Product description The JVC GC-XA2 ADIXXION Action Camera is a lightweight and rugged action camera that is compatible with a variety of optional mounts for use in a variety of conditions, environments, and activities. Highlighted by JVC's "Quad Proof" design, the GC-XA2 is waterproof down to a depth of 16.4', shockproof from falls up to 6.5', freezeproof to temperatures as low as 14°F, and completely sealed off from dust penetration thanks to an IP6X dustproof rating. It also features a fixed focus, 160° wide angle lens with a bright f/2.4 aperture. Plus, you can use the integrated 1.5" LCD monitor for shot preview and instant playback.To ensure high-resolution image capture, JVC outfitted the GC-XA2 with a back-illuminated 8MP CMOS image sensor that excels in low light conditions. It supports up to Full HD 1920 x 1080p video at 60 fps and records directly to an SDHC or SDXC memory card. The camera supports 8MP still images or 16MP Ultra Resolution photo capture as well. There's also a slow motion recording feature that records 1280 x 720p video at 120 fps for high-speed action and 4x slow motion playback. Other shooting features include up to a 15 fps burst mode, simultaneous recording of video and photos in five second intervals, and time-lapse video and photography.Besides capturing video to share with friends and family via HDMI on your HDTV screen, the GC-XA2 also supports live streaming. You can use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi to stream live broadcasts to USTREAM. You can use the Wi-Fi to instantly upload videos to YouTube as soon you record them. The GC-XA2 also works with the free, downloadable ADDIXION Sync App for iOS and Android mobile devices. This app supports a number of functions including Quad View, still image transfer to your smartphone, streaming to your smartphone, and more. You can also use the app to setup your pre-shooting camera configurations. Quad Proof Right Out of the Box - The GC-XA2 is waterproof to a depth of 16.4' (5m) without needing a protective housing
- The MIL-STD 810F rated GC-XA2 is shockproof from impacts and falls of up to 6.5' (2m)
- The GC-XA2's IP6X dustproof rating means that the camera is completely sealed off from dust
- The GC-XA2 is freezeproof to temperatures all the way down to 14°F (-10°C)
Full HD Recording & High-Resolution Still Images - The GC-XA2 supports up to Full HD 1920 x 1080p video recording at 60 or 30 fps
- Camera can also record HD 1280 x 720p at 120 fps for 4x slow motion playback
- Other supported recording modes include HD 960/30p, HD 720/60p, HD 720/30p, and WVGA 480/30p
- Supports still photo capture at 8MP or even up to 16MP when using Ultra Resolution enhancer
- With Burst Mode, you can shoot up to 15 fps with five different types of photo bursts
- Burst options include 5, 10, or 15 frames/1 sec; 15 frames/2 sec; and 15 frames/3 sec
- Simultaneous REC lets you shoot photos automatically at 5 sec intervals while recording video
