Product description Use this M.2 SSD Media Adapter Caddy from JVC to record up to UHD 4K 60/50p, 10-bit ProRes 422 video on your GY-HC500 or GY-HC550 Connected Cam camcorder. This caddy accepts a 2.5" M.2 SSD which allows the camera to record higher-resolution video compared to a maximum UHD 4K 30/25p using an SDHC/SDXC card. It installs into the built-in SSD expansion slot on the Connected Cam. The M.2 SSD media is not included with the adapter caddy. To offload your media to a computer, connect the caddy via its USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 interface. - Interface
- The caddy inserts into the SSD expansion slot on a GY-HC500 or GY-HC550 camera. Connect the caddy to a computer using the USB 3.0/3.1 interface. USB 3.1 Gen 1 features a maximum throughput of 5 Gb/s. USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0 are synonymous.
