Product description The JVC Pan/Tilt Head offers precise, smooth, and quiet remote control of mid-to-large size surveillance cameras such as the JVC KY-F560U. It is suitable for installations such as teleconferencing, meeting rooms, entertainment zones, and distance learning applications. The head also provides presets for applications needing camera and lens pre-programmed pan, tilt, zoom, and focus settings. With a preset resolution of 17 1/2 bits, the head offers an angular resolution of 0.002°. The preset data is stored in the head itself and recalled from the controller or computer, which provides ASCII serial commands to the pan-and-tilt head; standard communications protocol is 9600 baud, eight data bits, one stop bit, and no parity, which tell the head and lens which direction and at what rate to move. A joystick can be used for up, down, left, and right direction movements. Zoom, focus, iris, and preset control can be adjusted through switch controls. Pan rotation is +/-115° with adjustable limit switches, and the tilt angle is +/-65° with adjustable limit switches. Versatile enough to be used in varied applications, the unit is compatible with a range of teleconferencing and CCTV lenses. The head functions through serial data commands and accepts RS-422 signals that include transmit plus, transmit minus, receive plus, and receive minus signals. The interface uses a 26 AWG wire and has a distance limitation of 2000 feet. The unit supports both wall-mount and tripod installation. - Precise, smooth, and quiet remote control of mid-to-large size surveillance cameras
