Product description The K5600 Lighting Alpha 6/9K Complete System Kit is built around the compact low-profile Alpha 9K lamp head. This allows you to set up and power on the light with the inclusion of a ballast, a 50' head cable, a fresnel lens with ring, and 4-way barndoors. The Alpha 9K head employs a unique design which pairs a high efficiency quartz composite reflector that out-performs aluminum reflectors by 15%, with structural air vents that allow the head to run cool enough to angle it straight down during operation. The "open-eye" construction yields a hard light effect with crisp, sharply defined shadows. The slim, 17.7" profile head accepts an optional Pyrex lens or the Fresnel lens included in this kit that transforms the luminaire into a focused light source with a 10 - 60 degree beam angle range. The sturdy, steel yoke has both Junior 1 1/8" and a Baby 5/8" male mounting pins. - Barndoor Set for Alpha 9K Lamp Head The K5600 Barndoor Set for Alpha 9K Lamp Head is a 4-way metal light modifier that allows you to selectively illuminate your set or subject.
- Head Cable for Alpha 9K (50') The 50' Head Cable for Alpha 9K HMI fixture is required to connect the head to the separately-purchased 6/9K Ballast.
- 6K/9K Ballast for Alpha 9K HMI Lamp Head The 6K/9K Ballast for Alpha 9K HMI Lamp Head from K5600 is a dimmable power supply rated for use with 190-265 VAC current. The 54.6 lb compact unit can power the 2.5, 4, 6 and 9K Alphas and run them at 100 Hz, 300 Hz and even at 1000 Hz. This ballast has an Auto Scan function which automatically corrects variation in frequency to ensure stable shooting at any speed.
