Product description The K5600 Alpha 9K HMI Lamp Head with safety screen employs a unique design which pairs a high efficiency quartz composite reflector that out-performs aluminum reflectors by 15%, with structural air vents that allow the head to run cool enough to angle it straight down during operation. The "open-eye" construction yields a hard light effect with crisp, sharply defined shadows. The slim, 17.7" profile head accepts an optional protective Pyrex lens or an optional Fresnel lens that transforms the luminaire into a focused light source with a 10 - 60 degree beam angle range. The sturdy, steel yoke has both Junior 1 1/8" and a Baby 5/8" male mounting pins. The Alpha 9K requires separate purchase of an HMI lamp the 6/9K Ballast for use. - Reflector
- Quartz composite reflector is 15% brighter than standard aluminum reflectors
- Optional Fresnel Lens
- The optional Fresnel lens converts the standard "open-eye" HMI fixture to a focused light source with a wide beam angle range
- Cooling
- The combination of the high-efficiency small quartz reflector with computer-designed structural air vents provides efficient convection cooling in any operating position - even pointing straight down
- Lamp Suspension
- Quick and safe release of the optional lamp via a simple latch on the ceramic G38 socket
- Versatility
- Alpha 9K can be used with the optional SpaceBeam snoot-like accessory to create bright daylight effects
