Product description The Joker2 400W Kit from K 5600 Lighting is built around a Joker2 400W Head with a 400W HMI lamp. The included optical beamer mounts on the front of your Joker2 and gives you the ability to use the provided medium, wide, super wide, and frosted Fresnel lenses to get a soft source with varying degree patterns. The head is powered by the included fully dimmable ballast. The ballast is high-speed with 300 and 1000 Hz frequencies, and offers built-in wireless DMX control via LumenRadio, allowing for control using a smartphone or tablet.
Further accessories included in the kit are a 25' head feeder extension cable, which will come in handy whenever you want to boom your Joker2 or put it in a hard-to-reach place, and a frosted glass beaker, which can be used instead of the clear glass beaker to get a nice diffused soft effect right at the source. Also provided are full double and single scrims, a four-leaf barndoor, a lens bag, and a carrying case. - Joker2 400W Head with Cable The Joker2 400 with Cable from K 5600 Lighting is a 400W controllable light source designed for use on film, television, and still sets. Featuring a threaded screw-on ring, the Joker2 400 allows for quick and tool-less relamping between separately available 3200K and 5600K HMI lamps. The threaded ring also allows you to mount a clear or frosted borosilicate beaker around the lens (beakers and lenses available separately). Additionally, the head incorporates a plug-in igniter designed to convert from HMI to 2K tungsten in less than a minute.
The Joker2 has an integrated three-axis yoke for flexible placement, and a braking system that ensures the system can support larger light shapers such as light banks, ellipsoid spots, and Softubes. For power, the head uses a separately available fully dimmable ballast. The ballast is high-speed with 300 and 1000 Hz frequencies, and offers built-in wireless DMX control via LumenRadio, allowing for control using a smartphone or tablet. - MSR400/HR (400w/70v) HMI LAMP The Philips MSR400/HR (200W/70V) HMI Lamp is a hot-restrike bulb with a color temperature of 5,600K, a GZZ9.5 base and a 750 hour lamp life. It is used in stage, studio, theatrical and entertainment fixtures.
- 400W High-Speed Dimmable Ballast Run your Joker2 400W on this dedicated 400W High-Speed Dimmable Ballast from K 5600 Lighting. Able to work at frequencies of 300 or 1000 Hz, this ballast is designed to enable high-speed shots. It offers built-in wireless DMX via LumenRadio for control via a smartphone or tablet.
- 400W Optical Beamer Shape and direct your Joker2 400W's throw by using the Optical Beamer from K 5600 Lighting. Mounted on the front of your Joker2, this beamer is a specular reflector giving you the ability to use the separately available medium, wide, super wide, and frosted Fresnel lenses.
- Extension Cable for Joker 200, 400, 800, Blackjack 400 - 25' The K5600 C0900U 25' Extension Cable connects the Joker 200, 400, 800 integral light head cable to a ballast. It is a VEAM type, with quarter-turn lock. The C0900U cable is also compatible with the Blackjack 400 head.
- Lens for Joker 400W - Frosted Fresnel The K5600 Frosted Fresnel fits inside the ears on the Beamer. By diffusing and spreading the beam angle, it changes the light properties to that of a fresnel light.40° beam spread.
- Lens for Joker 400W - Super Wide Flood Provides a Super Wide spread of light when fitted to a K5600 Joker-Bug 400 watt fixture.56° beam spread.
- Lens for Joker 400W - Wide Flood This is a K5600 Wide Flood Lens that spreads the light in a narrow, wide beam (50° x 18°) from a K5600 Joker Bug HMI light head.
- Lens for Joker 400W - Medium Flood Spreads the light beam, allowing it to cover a larger area than it would if the Beamer was used alone. Fits inside the ears of the Beamer.20° x 10° beam spread.
- Full Double Scrim for Joker 400W (6 5/8") This is a Full Double Scrim for the K5600 Joker-Bug 400W HMI or any other fixture that accepts a 6 5/8" accessory.Full scrims dim the light across the entire beam spread, and 1/2 and graduated scrims are used to even the beam spread when lighting a subject or background from an angle.Keep several densities of scrims available to be prepared for any lighting situation.
- Full Single Scrim for Joker Bug 400W Placed in the light's accessory channel, the Full Single Scrim for Joker Bug 400W from K5600 subtracts a 1/2 stop of light from the Joker's output without moving the light further away to reduce light intensity.
- 4-Leaf Barndoors for Joker 400 These K5600 4-Leaf Barndoors for Joker 400 have four leaves that can be adjusted. Barndoors attach to the front of a light and are used to restrict light from areas of a set.
- Beaker - Frosted Glass for Joker Bug 400W The Frosted Beaker is used on the Joker-Bug 400 with accessories such as lanterns where the point source is not desirable. It also helps clean up Par lens aberrations, as well as soften the harsh spot achieved without a lens.
- Beaker - Clear Glass This glass filter comes standard with all Joker-Bug 400 Fixtures. Its purpose is to protect the HMI bulb. It also acts as a UV Filter, slightly warming the color temperature.
- Lens Bag with Partitions for Joker 400 Lenses (4-Count) The heavy-duty Lens Bag with Partitions from K5600 Lighting is designed to hold four Joker-Bug 400 lenses, which are 6-5/8" in diameter each.
- Carrying Case for Joker Bug 400 or Joker News 400 Outfit The Carrying Case for Joker Bug 400 or Joker News 400 Outfit is a White ABS plastic over plywood transit case made to transport a K5600 Joker Bug 400 or Joker News 400 lighting outfit. The case features lid storage, recessed butterfly latches, metal ball corners and recessed handles and wheels. The case is stackable with locking latches to hold them together.
