Product description The K-Tek KE-89CC Avalon Series Aluminum Boom Pole and BoomTube Case Kit from B&H includes a 2'5" to 7'6" boom pole with integrated XLR cable, along with a lockable Alfa BoomTube 16-32" carrying case. It can be used to accommodate ENG (Electronic News Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Production), and other documentary and field recording applications which require microphone placement near the subject while keeping you at a distance and out of frame.The kit provides easy portability and protects from dust, dirt, and moisture commonly associated with location film and broadcast work. - K-Tek KE-89CC Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole with Internal XLR Cable The K-Tek KE-89CC Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole provides a moderately priced, lightweight boompole solution for ENG, EFP, and other field recording applications. Its sturdy aluminum design is tough enough to endure the rigors of road use, while remaining lightweight and travel-worthy. This pole features an internal coiled cable and an XLR connection at the base of the pole. A total of four aluminum sections telescope between 2' 5" to 7' 6" and will easily store in any standard equipment case. The captive-collet coupling system locks each section in place for even further reliability.

It also includes a lid retaining cord and an adjustable carry strap. The twist-lock, draw-latch on the top of the case prevents intrusion of dust, dirt and moisture commonly associated with location film and broadcast work. Note: The small 16-32" case includes 3.0 x 2.0" foam inserts for decreasing the interior tube length.
