Made of proprietary HeatBlock material, they effectively insulate the talent's skin from the transmitter's heat in live stage, theater, and broadcast TV applications.The multi-layer HeatBlock material is specifically engineered to withstand a continual temperature of 464°F, well above the range at which the electronics are specified.
