Product description The Kaiser digiShield Folding LCD Hood for compact digital cameras with a 3" LCD display, shields light from the LCD monitor to improve the visibility of the monitor image. It folds down completely for compact storage of the camera as well as to act as a screen protector, and uses coil spring supported side flaps to keep the Hood in its opened position. To ease the operation of a touch screen monitor the hood has a quick release lock rail to allow the hood to be swung out of the way and can be easily released no matter if it is open or folded down.The Kaiser digiShield attaches to the camera by the tripod socket and provides an additional tripod thread so the camera can still be mounted. Furthermore, the hood can be positioned to fully cover the display and fit tightly to the camera body, regardless of the position of the tripod socket relative to the display. It is also supplied with 3 different adapter plates, two different thin screws and an adapter screw with tripod thread to suit a large number of camera makes & models.
