Product description The KA-SSTU-TE from Kala is a Travel Tenor Ukulele with a B-Band 1.2T active preamp that has volume and tone adjustments, and includes a disc battery holder. Fitted with a solid spruce top with mahogany sides and back, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, it can be used by musicians and students for applications such as recordings, live stage, theater, schools, and more. The KA-SSTU-TE ukulele measures 26-1/2" overall in body length. It has an upper bout of 6-3/4", a lower bout of 9", and a waist of 5-1/4". Featuring a thin-line 1 to 1-5/8" arched back body, the instrument has a full sound and projects well. Furthermore, the NuBone XB nut and saddle deliver increased volume and sustained tone, while adding clarity to each note. The built-in die-cast chrome tuners with black buttons ensure the instrument will stay in tune. Finally, the Travel Tenor Ukulele's rosewood fingerboard has markings on the neck and top at the 5th, 7th, and 10th positions to help identify its 12 silver nickel fret positions. The instrument is set up with Aquila Nylgut strings and includes a travel bag for transport and storage. - B-Band 1.2T Active System
