Product description The KA-SSTU from Kala is a Travel Soprano Ukulele with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Fitted with a solid spruce top with mahogany sides and back, it can be used by musicians and students for applications such as recording studios, live stage, theater, schools, and more. The KA-SSTU ukulele measures 21-1/8" overall in body length. It has an upper bout of 5", a lower bout of 6-3/4", and a waist of 4-3/8". Featuring a thin-line 1" to 1-5/8" arched back body, the instrument has a full sound and projects well. Furthermore, the NuBone XB nut and saddle deliver increased volume and sustained tone, while adding clarity to each note. The built-in die-cast chrome tuners with black buttons assure the instrument will stay in tune. Finally, the Travel Soprano Ukulele's rosewood fingerboard has markings on the neck and top at the 5th, 7th, and 10th positions to help identify its 12 silver nickel fret positions. The instrument is set up with Aquila Nylgut strings and includes a travel bag for transport and storage.
