Product description The UBASS-EBY-FSRW from Kala is a Striped Ebony Acoustic-Electric U-bass fitted with round wound strings. It features a striped ebony top, back and sides, a mahogany neck, walnut fingerboard and bridge, in a satin finish. It can be used by musicians and students in recording studios, rehearsals, for playing live on stage, and more.The UBASS-EBY-FSRW produces the same pitches as a standard bass instrument and is tuned in traditional bass tuning: E-A-D-G. Featuring 16 frets in a 21" scale, the striped ebony U-bass has Shadow U-Bass NFX electronics. The walnut fingerboard on this fretted U-Bass has a dot inlay design at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th positions to help identify the 16 fret locations.The built-in custom Hipshot Ultralite tuners ensure the instrument will stay in tune, and the Graph Tech TUSQ nut and composite saddle deliver a balanced tone.
