Product description With KanexPro's 4K HDMI Audio De-Embedder you can de-embed multi-channel audio from nearly any format and convert it to LPCM or stereo analog for compatibility with legacy receivers or amplifiers. High bit-rate codecs such as Dolby Atmos and DTS-MA are supported to ensure compatibility with Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray formats. 4K, HD, or SD video is passed through the HDMI output along with audio. For EDID management, there is a switch built-in to the device that will recognize and switch between 2.0-channel PCM, Bitstream, and TV EDID to match with the source. When selecting a 2-channel PCM output, the audio de-embedder can output analog stereo and digital S/PDIF simultaneously to separate devices.
