Product description Listen to premium music through legacy or current audio devices and extract audio from HDMI sources with the UltraHD Audio Decoder from KanexPro. This audio converter extracts the encoded multi-channel LPCM, Dolby Digital 5.1, or DTS-HD 5.1 audio signal from HDMI sources and sends it to an optical audio output. It also decodes the extracted audio signal to two-channel analog stereo audio and makes it available via RCA (L/R) and coax outputs without need for any other A/V equipment. Licensed by Dolby Labs, this audio extractor is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports 4K 2160p pass-through resolutions when connected to a 4K 2160p source and display.
The UltraHD Audio Decoder enables you to spread content from multi-channel sources such as Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and game consoles to multi-channel- and two-channel-capable zones simultaneously. This reduces system complexity and eliminates the expense of separate, dedicated sources for each zone. Moreover, this decoder allows you to listen to audio from digital sources such as DVD players, CD players, and computers on your legacy analog sound system. - De-embeds HDMI audio output to stereo and S/PDIF simultaneously
- Converts to two-channel audio from 24-bit up to 192 kHz
- Supports 3D & CEC pass-through
- Selectable audio through switching
- Audio 2.0/5.1-channel selection
- HD resolution up to full 1080p at 60 Hz
- Supports data rates up to 6.75 Gb/s
- Automatic cable input equalization
- Supports color depth up to 12-bit per channel (36-bit all channels)
- Supports uncompressed audio such as LPCM
- Supports compressed audio such as DTS Digital and Dolby Digital
