Product description Supporting HDMI signals over category cable, the KanexPro EXT-100SL18G UltraSlim UHD 4K/60 HDMI over HDBaseT Extender Set enables extending transmission of HD signals up to 330' and UHD 4K up to 230'. It is well suited for use in digital signage applications, as well as sending HDMI signals in healthcare AV facilities, control rooms, educational facilities, airports, and even in home theater installations. This unit consists of both a transmitter and receiver, and it supports HD and UHD 4K signals. Use of the HDBaseT protocol allows the transmitter and receiver to support PoH (Power over HDBaseT), which allows you to power both transmitter and receiver using only the one included power supply. Both the transmitter and receiver feature two Ethernet ports in addition to the HDBaseT port.
The EXT-100SL18G transmitter/receiver pair is compliant with HDCP 2.2 and EDID enabling it support HDMI content. The 18 Gbps bandwidth allows it to easily support signals up to UHD 4K 60Hz 4:4:4, at distances up to 230'. The transmitter supports CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), bidirectional RS-232 and IR control. The pair is Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio ready and supports LPCM Audio. They feature LED indicator lights for power, signal (link), and HDCP. Included with the pair are mounting ears with screws, an RS-232 cable, and an IR receiver. - Used to extend transmission distances of HDMI signals up to 230' over a single Cat 5e/6 cable and UHD signals can be transmitted up to 131'
- This extender also features two Ethernet ports on both the units, which can be used to connect standard network devices such as 100Base-T routers, switches and hubs for LAN access.
- It supports control over RS-232 and IR
- This transmitter/receiver pair includes both an IR emitter and receiver to control a device at the receiver end of the cable run from the transmitter
- Receiver can be powered directly by a power supply, or by PoH over HDBaseT from the transmitter
