Product description Supporting HDMI signals over category cable, the KanexPro EXT-HDBT70MTX UltraSlim 4K/30 HDMI over HDBaseT Transmitter enables extending transmission of HD signals up to 230'. It is well suited for use in digital signage applications, as well as sending HDMI signals in healthcare AV facilities, control rooms, educational facilities, airports, and even in home theater installations. This transmitter unit works with a receiver (not included) and supports HD and UHD 4K signals. Following the HDBaseT protocol allows the transmitter to support PoH (Power over HDBaseT), which allows you to power the transmitter, as well as an optional receiver using only one power supply.
The EXT-HDBT70MTX transmitter is compliant with HDCP 2.2 and EDID, enabling it to support HDMI content. The 10.2 Gbps bandwidth allows it to easily support signals up to UHD 4K 30 Hz, at distances up to 131'. The transmitter supports CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), bidirectional RS-232, and IR control. It is Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio ready and supports LPCM Audio. It features LED indicator lights for power, signal (link), and HDCP. Included with the transmitter are mounting ears and screws, an RS-232 cable, and an IR receiver. - Used to extend transmission distances for HDMI signals up to 230' over a single Cat 5e/6 cable
