Product description The HDBaseT 1x4 Over CAT6 Splitter from KanexPro is a half-rack width distribution amplifier which distributes one HDMI source signal to four Ultra HD 4K displays over CAT6. The splitter can also be daisy-chained to support up to eight displays.
The splitter is fully HDCP compliant supporting HDTV 1080p/60 and Ultra HD 4K resolutions. It provides EDID management, a local HDMI output, and RS-232 control for 3rd party control systems.
Typical applications include splitting, broadcasting, and digital signage in large scale control centers where HD & 4K signals need to be sent to four or eight displays up to 230' away over shielded CAT6. Note: To reduce video dropout problems from lighting, ceiling fans, and other EMI issues, it is strongly recommended to use shielded CAT5e/CAT6 and use shielded RJ45 connectors with KanexPro splitter products. - Distributes 4K / HDTV signals to four displays up to 230' away over CAT6 STP
