Product description The HDBaseT-Lite HDMI over CAT6 Transmitter from KanexPro is an HDBaseT-enabled transmitter designed to work with HDMI input devices such as cable boxes and Blu-ray players. The transmitter delivers HD video (up to 4K) and digital audio to a receiver (not included) over a Cat6a cable. This unit is capable of transmitting to distances up to 230' and supports bi-directional IR and RS-232 control. The HDBaseT-Lite transmitter supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) with compliant extenders and sources supporting the 230' HDBaseT-Lite technology. This unit can be paired with HDBaseT based projectors and displays in classrooms, conference rooms, and auditoriums. Note: It is recommendable to use a metal STP connector for RJ-45. The shielded layer of cable must be connected to the connector's metal shell for zero EMI noise and optimal transmission. - Designed for HDBaseT projectors and HDTV's
