Product description The HDBaseT VGA & HDMI over CAT6 Wall Plate Transmitter from KanexPro is an aluminum-based, Decora style, two-gang wall-mountable transmitter for extending HDMI/VGA signals with stereo audio. HDCP compliant and with EDID built-in, this wall plate transmitter features a maximum transmission range of 197' over CAT6. The wall plate transmitter provides Power over HDBaseT (PoH) to the receiver (sold separately), so no power is needed on the receiving side.
The transmitter wall plate supports HDMI/VGA auto-switching with selectable audio input and resolutions up to 4K. It has a built-in scaling function with various output resolutions between input sources. This wall transmitter is ideal for classrooms, lecture halls, and corporate AV - conference rooms and boardrooms where high-resolution signal distribution is critical. Note: Do not use couplers between the RJ-45/ CAT6 cables to avoid degradation. To reduce video dropout problems from lightings, ceiling fans, and other EMI issues, it is strongly recommended that you terminate shielded STP CAT6 or CAT5e cables and use shielded RJ45 connectors with KanexPro extender products. - Extends HDMI/VGA up to 197'
