Product description The KanexPro VGA Extender over Cat5e/6 with Audio (1 x 2) is a professional 1 input and 2 outputs extender for use with applications that use VGA video signals with stereo audio. With 2 independent receivers, the extender allows you to send VGA signals up to 1000’ (300m) via Cat5e/6 cables. Using a separate gain and peaking rotary switch, the receivers allows you to transmit signals with an option for adjusting brightness and skew over long distance transmission. In addition, it includes a local VGA output for monitoring the data being sent across.
Employing 15-pin HD input/output connectors, the VGA Extender offers support for graphics card resolutions from VGA to WUXGA and from HDTVs to projectors. Each output is separately buffered, and this helps in maintaining signal integrity and rejecting noise interference for lossless transmission. The Extender is EDID compliant and can be mounted on a rack or under the desk.
