Product description If you're searching for classic British blues and rock tones to add some bark to your sound, check out the Keeley 1962 British Overdrive Pedal. This hand-built pedal layers JFETs (transistors) found in Keeley's Katana circuitry to recreate the response of tube preamp and power sections found in vintage British amplifiers. Add a low-noise op-amp and the result is a smooth and rich overdriven tone with singing sustain. Speaking of layering, this overdrive pedal plays nicely with other overdrive pedals like the Red Dirt for achieving heavier and more saturated tones than those available with the 1962 alone. True bypass switching takes the pedal's circuit completely out of your signal chain to ensure that your signal passes through unmodified while the pedal is disengaged. Controls - Gain: Turn clockwise for more saturation, sustain, and breakup; dial it back for less aggressive crunch and bluesy tones
- Tone: Controls the overall high-end response, with more bite added as the knob is rotated clockwise
- Level: Sets the final output level of the pedal, turn the knob past unity (noon) for a volume boost
