Product description Designed for bass and low-frequency instruments, Keeley's Bassist Compressor Pedal is a high-fidelity limiting amplifier based on the THAT 4320 circuit. Rather than most classic designs, which work well for guitars with passive pickups, the Bassist Compressor is clean enough to handle active bass preamps and line-level signals from synths or studio equipment while maintaining clarity and articulation. Dedicated Compression, Threshold, and Gain controls let you precisely dial in the amount of compression or limiting necessary to achieve your desired tone, from natural, to over-the-top squashed, without distorting. Controls - Compression: Selects the level of compression ranging from 1:1 (no compression) to infinity (hard limiting)
- Threshold: Sets the trigger point of the compression from -50 dB to 10 dB. Lower settings bring the compressor in earlier, and higher settings require harder playing for the compressor to kick in
- Gain: Use this control to bring back lost volume as a result of compression, turning past unity gain will result in a volume boost
