Product description If an extra-polished compression sound not typically available from classic guitar pedal circuits is what you're seeking, Keeley's GC-2 Limiting Amplifier Pedal might just be what you need. Rather than using classic CA3080 or LM13700 circuits which offer great classic tones, the GC-2 leverages the high-fidelity THAT 4320 circuit. The voltage handling of this circuit is far greater and enables greater clarity and articulation reminiscent of much larger rack units. Additionally, this compressor offers dedicated Compression, Threshold, and Gain controls to let you precisely dial in the amount of compression or limiting necessary to achieve your desired tone, from natural to over-the-top squashed, without distorting. Controls - Compression: Selects the level of compression ranging from 1:1 (no compression) to infinity (hard limiting)
- Threshold: Sets the trigger point of the compression from -50 dB to 10 dB. Lower settings bring the compressor in earlier, and higher settings require harder playing for the compressor to kick in
- Gain: Use this control to bring back lost volume as a result of compression. Turning past unity gain will result in a volume boost
