Product description While the exterior of this pedal is very red, as is it's name, the Keeley Red Dirt Overdrive Pedal has ironic origins in Keeley's modifications to a very well known green-colored pedal, the Tube Screamer. Robert Keeley's experience modifying the aforementioned drive pedal led him to create his own circuit capable of more dynamic and expressive tones. A Keeley-designed FET input stage differs greatly from the classic TS circuit, evoking breakup that is worthy of the word tube. Controls - Drive: Turn it up for more gain and saturation
- Tone: Controls the overall tonal response of the pedal, right is bright
- Lo and Hi: Select between the two gain modes, Lo and Hi
- Level: Adjusts the final output level of the pedal. Turn it past unity gain for a level boost to overdrive your amplifier's input stage
