Product description The T-26001C VisionScope 2 7-45x Stereo Zoom Microscope from Ken-a-Vision is a cordless stereoscopic zoom microscope designed for elementary and middle school students. The two eyepiece configuration is preferred by most researchers and students because of the superior depth of field and comfort compared to monocular microscopes. This model of the VisionScope 2 has a paired 10x eyepiece delivering a 7-45x continuous magnification range. The achromatic objective system is parfocalled throughout the zoom range, keeping the specimen in focus while zooming in or out. This VisionScope series microscope is configured with top and bottom LED illumination. Each light source has variable intensity controlled by base-mounted rheostat dimmer. The energy-efficient LED light sources operate at a cool temperature and prolong the life of the built-in rechargeable battery pack. On a full-charge, this microscope can provide up to 40 hours of continuous operation before needing to be charged. The built-in rechargeable battery and dual light sources provide the portability and functionality needed for field use.A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the VisionScope 2 microscope a welcome addition to labs and classrooms. The viewing head is capable of 360° rotation to help share the stereo eyepiece among colleagues and students without moving the microscope. The rack and pinion system has dual focus dials and includes tension adjustment and rack stop mechanisms that prevent damaging the specimen and objective. The adjustable interpupillary distance and and individually adjustable diopter correction also provide the VisionScope 2 series with the flexibility needed to create a customized viewing experience. - Optical System
