Product description The 30° inclined viewing T-29041 Trinocular Microscope with Achromatic Objectives from Ken-A-Vision features a Siedentopf head, a double layer mechanical stage, 4x, 10x, 40xS, 100xS achromatic objectives, and a 360° rotating head. The retractable 40xS and 100xS objectives have spring-loaded lenses which will retract when it touches the slide in order to protect the lens and the slide. The 100xS objective ought to be used with immersion oil. Both the turret and the included objectives adhere to DIN microscope objective standard. This means that you can use any DIN objective with this microscope without worrying about your microscope ever becoming obsolete. The supplied achromatic objectives reduce color distortions introduced by imperfections in optical elements better than regular objectives and provide higher contrast images. The lenses are also coated with special coatings that protect their surfaces against mold in high humidity and high heat regions. The parfocalled and parcentered design allows for switching objectives without having to realign your sample and without losing focus. The focusing system has a coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustments with a scale.
To view details of our specimens more easily, the microscope features a white Halogen lamp illumination system with an adjustable brightness. The bright white light from the bottom Halogen lamp is collimated with a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser and can be regulated by a build-in iris diaphragm. The illumination system also features a Kohler illumination method, which provides you with a clearer and a more evenly illuminated image.
The microscope also features a double layer 7.1 x 6" mechanical stage with two low position coaxial X-Y motion controls and a bracket for securely holding your specimen slides. The frame of the microscope is made of cast aluminum with a cream-colored enamel finish. Included with the microscope are a green, yellow, and blue filters, and a dustcover. - Optical System and Focusing
