Product description Ken-a-Vision's Microprojector 2 Digital Microscope is built from the ground up to optimize student's learning experience by providing a simple VGA video-output interface for use with projectors, computers, and other digital display systems. Using the familiar stage and focusing mechanisms students and instructors are used to allows for an easy transition from traditional instruments. The entire light path is top to bottom inverted with a digital camera sitting in place of the eyepiece; a single zoom objective resides on the nosepiece and turret, located below the stage. The X2000 is designed with a large 5.3 x 5.1" floating stage, and a deep working area, that allows easy observation of larger specimens. An included mechanical stage add-on features a spring arm to hold slides and specimens in place and X & Y axes adjustment knobs that let users move the specimens into precise position over the objective. A cool-running LED won't heat specimens, and a large rheostat dial provides variable output control for optimal illumination. The instrument can be operated as a cordless device using an internal rechargeable battery with a 40-hour runtime (and an 8-hour charge time) or as a corded scope using the included power supply. This version is specifically designed to work with 110 VAC US voltage outlets. - Optical Performance
