Product description The Kensington Desktop & Peripherals Locking Kit 2.0 helps secure one piece of equipment without a security slot, two devices with a Kensington security slot, and other peripherals featuring an integrated-cable design. The kit includes two adapters that feature a keying system, which is compatible with most security slots found on laptops, while the anchor plate adheres to a desktop or monitor without a slot. For securing keyboards, mice, and portable storage drives, a cable trap is also included. The 8' carbon steel cable routes through all the provided items and helps deter theft of the connected gear. - 10mm Lock Head
- At only 10mm in diameter, the lock head is designed for thin laptops and devices while offering tamper-resistance, reliability, and durability.
- 5mm Keying System
- The keying system provides custom management options for flexibility and Hidden Pin technology, which helps prevent the lock from being picked.
- Anchor Plate
- The anchor plate adheres to a flat surface for securing a device that does not have a Kensington Security Slot
- Carbon Steel Cable
- The carbon steel cable is designed to be cut- and theft-resistant. Additionally, the cable is 8' long and features a plastic sheath.
- Multi-Piece Security
- Two adapters are included to secure devices that feature an industry-standard Kensington Security Slot, while the cable trap secures your wired keyboard and mouse.
- Register & Retrieve
- Kensington's online key registration program allows for a quick, secure, and easy key replacement, if the included keys are lost or stolen.
