Product description Connect multiple peripherals to your computer with the SD420V Universal Docking Station from Kensington. This docking station features five USB 2.0 ports for connecting devices like external hard drives. The USB ports will also charge portable USB devices like smartphones and MP3 players. For high-speed Internet connectivity, 10/100 Ethernet is built-in. The Kensington SD420V also has a DVI port for outputting video to an external monitor.
Pressing the DualView button on the front of the docking station will allow the unit to output video to an external monitor and display video on the monitor of your connected source simultaneously. A DVI-to-VGA adapter is included for connecting analog monitors. A USB cable is also included for host connection to your computer. This docking station will not power connected computers but includes an AC adapter for external power. - A single USB cable between the dock and your computer gives you additional peripheral connectivity.
- Hot-swappable USB ports so you can connect to the dock and swap devices without shutting down.
- Front audio ports and a back speaker port let you connect 2.1 stereo speakers and a Internet headset for chatting.
- Mini-tower design reduces desktop footprint for easy placement.
- Kensington security slot allows you to secure your dock and its connected peripherals (via optional security cable and optional cablesaver).
