Product description The Protalk LT PKT-23 Pocket-Sized UHF FM Portable 2-Way Radio by Kenwood is for mobile communications and can be used in various businesses such as security firms, construction projects, Fire and rescue patrol and more. It features a 1.5 watt transmit power, 4 channels, a coded squelch, scan functions, a led battery status indicator and a monitor. It is built to meet or exceed IP54 and military standards 810 C/D/E/F/G (11 items) specifications and is designed to be business tough. This Radio features a 3.5mm audio output jack and allows for hands free operation with optional headphones. Connect the Protalk radio to a standard micro USB port or use the included charging cup to charge the battery. When fully charged, the radio can operate up to 15 hours of operation. Also included are the KNB-71L Li-lon battery, belt clip and a 3-hour fast charger.

- Open areas without obstructions is up to 5 miles (8 km)
Residential areas near buildings is up to 1.5 miles (2.4 km) In steel and/or concrete reinforced buildings the range is up to 225,000 sq.ft (20,900 sq.m) The range in high-rise buildings is up to 17 floors - VOX Ready
- This operation allow you to transmit hands-free and can only be used if you are using a supported headset

- Bell Tone Alert
- You are alerted to an incoming call by the flashing LED light and a bell tone
- Battery Saver
- This feature will allow you to select a lower power level when range is not an issue and you can communicate easily with your group in the vicinity. This will lessen the drain on your battery and make it last longer, and when you need more power you simply switch to high power
- Super Lock
- Prevents accidental operation of the transceiver keys but still will allow action of the PTT, squelch off, monitor, power and volume keys
- 2 PF Keys
- Both PF Keys can be programmed for any of the many functions available, permitting customization to suit your specific requirements
- Enhanced Kenwood Audio
- Ensure that the ProTalk sound quality is undeniably clear and crisp as well as loud.
- Voice Announcement
- Audibly tells you the channel number and frequency you are communicating on
- Time Out Timer
- Prevents callers from using a channel for an extended duration (60 seconds)
