Product description The Kessler Crane K-Pod Tripod is a heavy-duty 100mm bowl system weighing a sturdy 22 lb and offering a 500 lb load capacity. It's designed to be suitable for cranes and standard tripod applications and is upgradeable for use on dolly tracks. A good choice for a head is the Kessler Crane Hercules 2.0, which supports a 150 lb payload.
The K-Pod Tripod features rigid double strut legs with Kessler's incremental Posi-Lock System that friction locks the legs as well as interlocks into incremental lock pockets. The lock pockets allow you to equally position the legs while providing a lock that will prevent any accidental slips from the lock position. The K-Pod also includes a pop-lock spreader that locks the legs in a pre-stressed position to eliminate instability in heavy load conditions, and acts as the frame system when the tripod is used in various dolly configurations. The legs are made of black-anodized aluminum and have a flat design with a powder-coated finish designed to prevent scratching and wear.
Kessler offers a wide range of accessories that upgrade the K-Pod Tripod for multiple uses in standard tripod and dolly system applications. The K-Pod comes with standard spin-out pad feet but can be upgraded with spiked feet, caster wheels, all-terrain wheels, dolly trucks, dolly seats, pushbars, and other K-Pod system accessories. - Key Features
