Product description The USB 4-Port Serial Adapter from Keyspan is an adapter box that allows you to connect up to four serial devices to a single USB port. The adapter is ideal for industries that still utilize legacy serial devices, as it allows them to be used with modern computer hardware. It is compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems. - Compatibility
- The adapter is compatible with all RS-232 serial devices. These include modems, GPS units, cell phones, hand-held scanners, networking equipment, graphics tablets, point of sale equipment, touch screens, UPS devices, medical instruments and many more.
- Plug and Play
- The plug and play adapter requires no drivers. Each serial port appears as a standard COM port, and the device meets Microsoft WHQL standards. Multiple adapters can be attached to a computer that needs to use more than four devices.
