Product description The LP-310 Quick Release Lens Plate from Kirk is an Arca-type compatible plate. The plate itself is black anodized aluminum and the lip is satin sliver anodized, making them scratch-resistant. The lip can be mounted with a 90° or 30° angle, for a snug fit against the tripod collar with the compatible lenses. This feature helps keep a tighter fit and prevents the lens foot from pivoting while mounted to the plate. Removing the lip will make the plate universal with any lens foot, but will lose the capability of having the anti-twist against the foot.The 1/4"-20 screw for the lens foot is made of stainless steel. Two included smaller screws can be used as safety stops to prevent accidental slippage on the head. There are three additional 1/4"-20 mounting holes on the plate for better positioning on the bottom of the lens foot. The plate has a double dovetail design for rigidity while clamped by an Arca-type head.All Kirk plates are made in the USA. - Double Dovetail
