Product description The QR-AB1QR from Kirk Enterprises is a universal quick release adapter that converts nearly any non-Arca tripod head into an Arca-type compatible support.
Utilizing a universal mounting block, the adapter can be mounted on top of any existing 1/4"-20 tripod or quick release thread to convert that mount into an Arca-type compatible clamp. The included 2.6" quick release clamp is then attached to the mounting block to provide a twist-resistant connection.
The clamp features Kirk's quick-turn release knob which allows the user to shift the quick release plate's position after just a 1/8 knob turn and fully remove the plate with just a 1/2 knob turn. Constructed for durability, the clamp and adapter feature no exposed internal mechanisms and include an integrated 5/32 hex wrench for convenient assembly.
