Product description Enjoy enhanced dialogue when you add the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-400C Two-Way Center Channel Speaker to your compatible stereo or home theater system. As a center channel speaker, the RP-400C will handle the bulk of the dialogue in your favorite movies and TV shows when used in a traditional home theater setup. It features a 1" LTS vented tweeter paired with a 90 x 90° hybrid cross-section Tractrix horn and two 4" Cerametallic cone woofers to provide a 65 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response. It can handle up to 75W of continuous power from your amplifier of choice. - 90 x 90° Silicone Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn
- Horn loading helps to maximize efficiency and enhance detail while focusing high frequencies toward the listening area. Tractrix geometry further provides for efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into the listening area. The phase plug and compressed molded silicone face are designed to ensure a smooth frequency response.
- Linear Travel Suspension Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter
- Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeters help minimize distortion for enhanced performance.
- Vented Tweeter Design
- The vented tweeter housing helps reduce standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, further augmenting detail and clarity in high frequency reproduction.
- Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers
- Cerametallic woofers are designed to be light and rigid to help provide minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The cones are mated to a dual-layer, copper-wound voice coil for enhanced conductivity and are housed in a non-resonating, stamped-steel basket for augmented efficiency and low distortion.
- Tractrix Port
- Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port is engineered with inner flares to allow for efficient, fast air transfer from the cabinet to help reduce port noise for punchy low frequencies.
