Product description Bring pure, natural overhead sound to your home theater with this pair of walnut Reference Premiere RP-500SA Dolby Atmos 2-Way Elevation/Surround Speakers from Klipsch. Featuring horn-loaded controlled directivity technology, the RP-500SA bounces sound off the ceiling to create an immersive listening experience. The Reference Premiere 500SA can also be used as an on-wall elevation or surround speaker via its easy-to-use keyhole mounting system.
Featuring a two-way speaker design, each RP-500SA incorporates a 1" titanium LTS vented tweeter paired with a hybrid Tractrix horn and a 5.25" spun copper Cerametallic woofer. The RP-500SA conforms to Dolby Atmos specifications and can handle up to 75W of continuous power from your amplifier of choice. - Versatile Surround Speaker
- The RP-500SA can be used as an up-firing immersive speaker for Dolby Atmos technology, as a height speaker, or as a rear surround speaker. The speaker pair can sit atop monitors or tower speakers, or be used as a surround speakers for a hemisphere of rich, detailed sound.
- Dolby Atmos-Certified Elevation Speaker
- The RP-500SA is tested and approved by Dolby Labs to faithfully reproduce Dolby Atmos elevation effects for a cinematic listening experience.
- Switchable Crossover
- The RP-500SA features a switchable crossover that changes between Atmos and Surround speaker modes. This allows for optimized performance as either a Dolby Atmos elevation speaker or a wall-mounted side or rear surround speaker.
- 90 x 90° Silicone Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn
- The RP-500SA incorporates a Tractrix horn designed to enhance efficiency and increase detail while focusing high frequencies towards the listening area. The horn uses a phase plug and a compressed molded silicone face to ensure smooth frequency response and deliver clean, natural sound.
- Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter
- The speaker's design includes a Linear Travel Suspension tweeter that minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance.
- Vented Tweeter Design
- The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics. This tweeter design results in enhanced detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.
- Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofer
