Product description Conjure the power, detail, and emotion of the live music experience in your home theater with the natural-cherry Reference RC-64 III 2.5-Way Center Channel Speaker from Klipsch. Featuring a 1.75" titanium diaphragm compression driver paired with a 90 x 90° Tractrix horn and four 6.5" Cerametallic cone woofers, this center channel speaker delivers a frequency response of 57 Hz to 24 kHz. It can handle up to 200W of continuous power from your amplifier of choice. - 1.75" Titanium Diaphragm Compression Driver
- The compression driver's phase plug design improves phase coherency at the throat of the horn, resulting in improved sound pressure linearity at high frequencies.
- 90 x 90° Tractrix Horn
- The Tractrix horn uses a circular horn throat paired to a square horn mouth to further improve high-frequency response and extension while enhancing imaging and dynamics. The compressed molded rubber construction adds high-frequency damping to reduce harshness, improve detail, and deliver clean, natural sound.
- Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers
- Cerametallic woofers are designed to combine high rigidity with a lightweight construction to ensure minimal cone breakup and distortion. They pair seamlessly with the Tractrix horn-loaded compression driver to deliver enhanced speaker efficiency.
- Cast Frame Woofer Design
- Each of the RC-64 III speaker's four 6.5" woofers is equipped with a heavy-duty cast aluminum frame for resonant-free operation.
- 2.5-Way Network Crossover Design
- The 2.5-way design of the RC-64 III network attenuates the outer woofers' output at higher frequencies to minimize horizontal interference off-axis to the loudspeaker. This ensures a wide and even sound distribution.
- Furniture-Grade Wood Veneer
- The RC-64 III speaker's enclosure boasts a furniture-grade wood veneer.
