Product description Blending the ease and connectivity of digital capture with the fun of instant printing, the black MiniShot Instant Digital Camera from Kodak is a unique hybrid point-and-shoot camera. Featuring a 10MP CCD sensor, the MiniShot captures still images that can then printed directly from the camera using 4Pass D2T2 technology for instant 2.1 x 3.4" or 2.1 x 2.1" photos. A built-in wide-angle lens offers a natural perspective for photographing everyday scenes and the rear 1.7" LCD allows you to compose imagery, review your shots, and navigate the menu system. Automatic exposure and white balance settings make this a true point-and-shoot camera, rendering well-exposed imagery with ease, and a built-in flash also benefits working in low-light conditions.
The camera's built-in Wi-Fi enables sharing your image files wirelessly with a linked mobile device for saving or for editing and printing via the Kodak app. When printing with the dedicated all-in-one media, print times are approximately 50 seconds per sheet and you have the option to print with a border or borderless, as well as crop images and apply filters or effects via the app. Camera - A 10MP CCD image sensor can be used to record either full-resolution photos or half-size 5MP images. Images are saved as JPEG files.
- Built-in wide-angle lens offers a broad, natural perspective to suit photographing a variety of subject types. The lens also makes use of an autofocus system to help ensure subjects are sharp.
- Rear 1.7" LCD monitor is used to compose imagery, review shots, and navigate the menu system.
- Auto exposure, white balance, gamma, and color control all contribute to producing well-exposed, color-accurate imagery.
- Built-in flash can be used to provide additional illumination when working in low-light conditions.
- Built-in lithium-ion polymer battery has a charge time of approximately 1.5 hours and yields approximately 20 prints per charge. It can be recharged via the camera's micro-USB port and included cable.
Printing - 4Pass dye diffusion thermal transfer (D2T2) printing uses a heat-transfer process to produce continuous tone vivid color prints.
- Photos can be printed as either 2.4 x 3.4" credit card-sized images or as 2.1 x 2.1" adhesive-backed prints, depending on the medium used.
- Printing time is approximately 50 seconds per sheet.
- Either borderless or white bordered prints can be made.
- Kodak printing medium is waterproof and fingerprint-proof, and features a protective layer for additional durability and color fastness.
- Using the dedicated Kodak app, filters, stickers, and card templates can be applied to imagery, and you can also crop photos and print to standard ID card sizes.
- The included all-in-one printing cartridge contains 8 sheets for printing.
Connectivity - Wi-Fi connectivity is used to transfer and save your photos to your mobile device. There is no built-in memory or memory card compatibility with the camera itself.
- Smartphone or tablet is used to configure printing images via the Kodak app, which is available for iOS and Android devices.
