Product description As part of the Astro Zoom Collection, the white PIXPRO AZ401 Digital Camera from Kodak is distinguished by a long-reaching 40x zoom along with versatile recording capabilities. A 16.15MP CCD sensor enables recording high-resolution stills and HD 720p video, as well as an expandable sensitivity range from ISO 80-3200 for working in a variety of lighting conditions. The expansive zoom covers a 24-960mm equivalent focal length range for working with subjects both near and far, and optical image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. The rear of the camera features a 3.0" 460k-dot LCD monitor and four AA batteries are used as a convenient source of power. - A 16.15MP 1/2.3" CCD sensor produces high-resolution stills and HD 720p/30 video, along with a sensitivity range of ISO 80-1600 to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions. This can be extended to ISO 3200 when recording 4MP images for working in low-light conditions.
- A long-reaching 40x optical zoom lens provides a 24-960mm equivalent focal length range, covering wide-angle to super-telephoto perspectives, and 4x digital zoom is also available to further extend the effective reach.
- Optical image stabilization is available to minimize the appearance of camera shake when shooting handheld in difficult lighting conditions or with longer focal lengths.
- Rear 3.0" 460k-dot LCD monitor is available for composing and reviewing imagery, as well as for navigating the menu system.
- 180° Panorama mode lets you take sweeping images by simply panning the camera to create a wide-field composition.
- Face, Smile, Blink, Cat, and Dog detection modes can be used to optimize shooting settings to capture perfect portraits and pet pictures.
- Both single and multi, 9-point autofocus modes can be used, and Face Detection AF is also available to prioritize subjects' faces when shooting portraits.
- Built-in flash provides additional illumination when working in low-light conditions.
- Four AA batteries are used as a convenient power source and offer approximately 280 shots per fresh set of batteries.
