Product description Explore the night using the KonuSpy-8 Digital Night Vision Bi-ocular from Konus Optics. This portable night vision device is primarily designed for handheld operation and offers a compact and ergonomic rubberized body that will serve this purpose. For seeing in the dark, the monocular offers a 1.3MP digital night vision sensor and a built-in infrared illuminator with a flood lens. When there is not enough ambient infrared illumination from the moon and stars to deliver adequate image brightness, you can use the built-in illuminator to cast extra infrared light on your targets. For a more comfortable viewing experience, this night vision device offers two eyepieces with wide rubber eyecups. Using both eyes to look at the scene reduces fatigue and eyestrain. The optical system features a wide 50mm objective lens to maximize brightness, a 6-24x combined optical and digital magnification to give you good close-ups, and a 30' minimum focusing distance for close-range viewing. In addition to plain viewing, this night vision device allows you to capture images and videos and store them on the included 8GB SD memory card. The body is designed in such a way that when you hold this NVD with one hand, all five control buttons are conveniently located under your fingertips. If your application requires a more stable or prolonged operation, you can also mount it on a tripod. - Sensor & IR
