Product description The Kood A Series Net Gray Filter is designed for use with a Kood A Series or Cokin A Series Filter Holder. It can be applied to purposely create a general soft-focus effect within an entire image. The gray-colored, hexagonal pattern embedded within this filter also reduces contrast and softens glare, which can be useful for creating a more flattering result of a subject or scene. The hexagonal pattern's gray color helps to maintain a scene's existing color balance. Kood A Series net filters with a blue, green, orange, red, or violet hexagonal pattern that adds a corresponding hue to the entire image are separately available. A Kood A Series White Net Filter that helps to maintain a scene's existing color balance but with a greater reduction of contrast is also separately available.
This filter's combined soft-focus and diffusion effects can be obtained while producing black-and-white or color imagery using a film or digital camera system. Similarly, this filter can be used with darkroom enlargers to obtain color or black-and-white prints with a soft-focus effect and diffusion.
