Product description The Kood A Series Net Red Filter is designed for use with a Kood A Series or Cokin A Series Filter Holder. It can be applied to purposely to create a general soft-focus effect within an entire image. The red-colored, hexagonal pattern embedded within this filter also reduces contrast and softens glare, which can be useful for creating a more flattering result of a subject or scene. The hexagonal pattern's color can add a red hue to the entire image as well.
When the respective film type or white balance setting that corresponds to the primary light source is selected, those combined soft-focus, diffusion, and color effects can be obtained while this filter is used on a film camera system or on a digital camera system. Film cameras with black-and-white film installed or digital cameras configured to record monochromatic images can utilize the Kood A Series Net Red Filter's soft-focus and diffusion effects only.
Similarly, this filter can be used with darkroom enlargers to obtain color prints with a soft-focus effect and a diffused red hue, while black-and-white prints can be made to exhibit a soft-focus effect and diffusion.
Kood A Series net filters with a hexagonal pattern that adds a blue, green, orange, or violet hue to the entire image are available separately. Both a Kood A Series Gray Filter that helps to maintain a scene's existing color balance or a Kood A Series White Net Filter that also helps to maintain a scene's existing color balance but with a greater reduction of contrast are also available separately.
