Product description The white B1 from Korg is a slim, digital piano delivering the key features most important to any pianist - an authentic keyboard touch using the Natural Weighted Hammer Action (NH) keyboard, good sound, and ease of use. The accurately weighted keyboard provides a heavier touch in the lower registers, transitioning to a lighter touch in the upper regions. Also included are three levels of key-touch control, allowing the keyboard response to be matched to nearly any playing style. Eight different sounds are available, including three pianos with damper resonance, two electric pianos, a harpsichord, and two organs. Reverb effects add depth, and a chorus effect provides a spacious feel to the sounds. To achieve the deep, rich tones of an acoustic piano, the digital piano relies on the company's servo-assisted MFB (Motion Feedback) technology, a pair of full-range speakers, plus a passive radiator. MFB controls the movement of the speaker cone, allowing for the reproduction of low frequencies with minimal distortion. A headphone jack allows for private practice. Ideal for the beginner to intermediate pianist, for lessons or practice, the B1 includes a partner mode that allows the keyboard to be split into two side-by-side keyboards, each pitched in the same range. This way the student and teacher (or parent and child) can play the same passages at the same time, providing the perfect way to learn a difficult lesson. In a classroom setting, two students can share a single instrument. An improved music rest features a page-retention pocket that keeps music pages and folios from turning unexpectedly during performance. - 88 Natural Weighted Hammer (NH) keys
