Product description - KR Mini: Energize your practices and performances with diverse rhythm patterns!
The KRmini Rhythm Machine from Korg features 54 preset patterns with 6 slots that are user programmable in 9 different musical styles including 8 beat, 16 beat, rock, metal, pop, R&B, jazz, Latin, and dance. Its chain function allows you to arrange multiple patterns and fills to create songs, while its 16 velocity-sensitive pads can be used for finger drumming to create your own rhythms.
Playback is provided via the internal 2-watt speaker or through the 1/8-inch headphone and speaker output jack, allowing you use the KRmini silently with headphones or through external speakers. The unit also has two inputs for optional footswitches, allowing you to start and stop playback hands-free. It can be powered with the included 3 AA batteries or with an optional AC adapter. - Chain Rhythm Patterns
- KRmini's Chain function lets you arrange patterns to create complete songs. Jump from one pattern to another, add fill-ins, and specify the loop end location as well as the number of playback repetitions
- Finger Drumming
- At the push of a button, the 16 pads double up as playable drum pads. All of the sounds of the KR mini are available in this mode, and you can finger drum on a whim. The pads are velocity sensitive; letting you create dynamic drum phrases.
Although finger drumming has typically been done using a PC-based system with samplers and MIDI controllers, the KRmini, with its built-in speaker and battery-powered operation means that now you can enjoy performing on the street, outdoors, or anywhere you may be inspired - Pedal Switch
- Two pedal inputs you are available to allow use of optional footswitches to start and stop the rhythm or to control fill-ins. In a performance environment, you'll be able to smoothly control the KRmini while continuously playing your instrument. The KR mini also has a headphone/speaker output, so you can connect it to your PA system. Use it with a guitar amp or compact multi-channel PA to create a simple setup for live performance
