Product description The Pitchblack Pro Rackmount Tuner from Korg is a 1-unit rackmountable tuner with a 3D-style meter and three selectable display modes. While it is designed for rackmount use, its 49mm depth allows it to be used on pedalboards as well. It has both front- and rear-panel 1/4" inputs, a mute function for silent tuning, and a built-in cable tester to help you identify broken cables. The tuner's output is buffered, allowing you to keep the tuner in your signal chain without it altering your tone or changing the quality of your audio. The necessary hardware to rackmount the Pitchblack Pro is included. - Three Meter Display Modes
-
- Regular: As when using a needle-type meter tuner, tune the string so that the LED in the center of the meter is lit up. The illuminated LED will move to the right if the string is sharp, or toward the left if the string is flat
- Strobe: Tune the string so that the LED meter illumination stops flowing. The meter illumination will flow from left to right if the string is sharp or from right to left if the string is flat
- Half-Strobe: Tune the string so that the LED meter illumination stops flowing and only the center LED is lit up. The right side of the LED meter strobes if the string is sharp; the left side strobes if the string is flat. When the pitch is correct, only the center LED will be lit up
