Product description 7 All-In-One Portable Speaker Systems for Special Events and Parties Read More srfestrtvybetfce Designed for the traveling performer, the STAGEMAN 80 from Korg is an all-in-one stereo recorder, playback device, PA-system, and rhythm section. It features two 40W 4" speakers, which can deliver volumes suitable for small- to medium-sized performance venues, listening rooms, and street performances. Its class-D amplifiers deliver both efficiency in power and tightness in the low-end of the frequency spectrum. Additionally, you can easily set-up anywhere and play, as long as you have the batteries on hand. - Internal Rhythm Machine
- The Stageman 80 features many on-board rhythm patterns based on performances by top-ranking pro drummers and percussionists. Additionally, Korg's "Real Groove Technology" allows natural and musical-sounding phrases to be generated at any tempo. Approximately 3GB of rhythm loops are included, covering a range of 24 genres, with two variations for each genre. You can also register your favorite rhythms and tempos, chain individual measures of rhythm styles, and create drum tracks to fit your current song.
- Uncomplicated Recording and Playback Functions
- Record your own performance along with the internal rhythm patterns—or along with a song you've added to the SD card. You can utilize undo/redo commands, and register marks at desired locations in the recorded data, and play back a region as a loop while you overdub. Additionally, you can adjust the playback speed up or down by 25%, and specify whether or not to play files repeatedly or in automatic succession.
- On-Board Mixer
- The STAGEMAN 80 allows you to mix input sources simultaneously, including a mic input, two inputs for instruments, and an AUX input that supports line-level stereo output from devices such as an iPod or keyboard. A two-band EQ is provided, and you can apply reverb to the microphone and instrument channels.
- Acoustage Function for Spaciousness
- KORG's proprietary Acoustage technology produces a wide stereo effect, aiding in the impression that the Stageman 80's speakers seem farther apart than they actually are.
- On-Board Tuner and Metronome
- The STAGEMAN 80 is equipped with a tuner. When you instantiate it, the rhythm style buttons become a tuning meter, letting you tune while watching the meters. You can also tune while hearing a guitar, bass, or piano guide tone, or listen to a metronome for practicing.
- Footswitch Input for Control During Live Performance
- You can control the STAGEMAN 80 with a Vox VFS5, available separately. Use the footswitch to insert a fill-in to rhythm patterns while you perform, to switch rhythm variations, or to start/stop the recorder or audio player. This enables real time changes in performance settings.
- Suitable for Many Performance Locales
- Power can be supplied from six D batteries or from the included adapter. Since batteries facilitate up to 20 hours of continuous operation, you can use the unit in locations where electrical power is unavailable. You can also extend the stand on the lower part of the body, allowing you to tilt the speaker to an upward angle. For example if you're playing live in a cafe, this positioning allows a fuller sound to reach your audience.
