Product description The Smart Housing from Kraken Sports is an underwater enclosure for smartphones that can withstand depths of up to 262'. To further help ensure secure operations while underwater, an integrated vacuum port system helps keep seals safe. Simply give the included vacuum pump a few pulls and the housing will let you know that it has a vacuum and is safe to dive. To further monitor conditions while diving, a depth and temperature sensor is also included.
Kraken Sports designed this housing to be compatible with a wide variety of iOS and Android smartphones that have dimensions of up to 6.2" in height, 3.3" in width, and 0.4" thick. Phones should have a flat back, as ones with curved backs will not sit properly in the housing. Although they are slightly over the case's maximum dimensions, the iPhone X, 8 Plus, 8, 7 Plus, 7, 6 Plus, 6, and 5 will fit. Most Android phones will fit as well, including the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S8, LG G6, Google Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel. Please note that the Samsung Note 9 will not fit.
There are also a wide range of separately-sold accessories that are available, including wide-angle and macro lenses. This housing supports the Dive+ app, which provides full manual camera control, built-in color correction, a dive computer, compass, and an auto dive log.
